Playing Style & Strengths
Paul is one of the best movers on tour and wins most of his matches by making opponents play an extra ball rather than by hitting through them. The backhand is the more reliable wing and the return position is aggressive, which is how he turned the Zverev match around from match point down in Cincinnati — he made the top seed serve it out three separate times and Zverev could not.
Paul Betting Tips & Predictions
Paul is a poor favourite and a good underdog. His matches are close because of how he plays, so backing him on the handicap or in set markets against higher-ranked opponents has been more productive than the outright, and laying him as a short favourite against players who can shorten rallies is the other side of the same read.
