National Bank Open

The National Bank Open 2026 ran from 1–14 August, with the ATP Masters 1000 men’s event at IGA Stadium in Montreal and the WTA 1000 women’s event at Sobeys Stadium in Toronto. Ben Shelton successfully defended his title in Montreal, beating Brandon Nakashima 6-3, 7-6(4) in the final of a draw that lost Jannik Sinner, Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz before it began and top seed Alexander Zverev in the second round.

tek won in Toronto for the first time, beating second seed Elena Rybakina 6-2, 6-3 after world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka had gone out in the fourth round and defending champion Victoria Mboko had withdrawn injured before the event.
