ATP Finals 2026 Prize Money: What the Champion Earns

The ATP Finals pays differently from every other tournament, and it can pay better than a Grand Slam. There is no knockout ladder to climb: money is awarded per round-robin win on top of a participation fee, then again for the semi-final and the final. An undefeated champion collects the lot.

How the Payout Works

Stage How it pays
Participation A flat fee for qualifying, paid to all eight
Round robin A separate amount for each of the three group wins
Semi-final Additional payment for winning the semi
Final Additional payment for winning the title

Because the components stack, the gap between an undefeated champion and one who lost a group match is significant, and the gap between a champion and a player who went winless in the groups is enormous.

What an Undefeated Champion Earns

Jannik Sinner collected $5,071,000 for going through the 2025 edition unbeaten. That is more than the singles champion earned at any of the four majors that season, which is why players treat the closing week as seriously as they do.

The total pool has sat at roughly $15.5 million in recent editions. The ATP publishes the full 2026 breakdown closer to the event and we will add the confirmed figures here when it does.

Ranking Points Work the Same Way

Points also accumulate rather than being awarded for a finishing position. An undefeated champion takes 1,500 ranking points, more than a Masters 1000 title and enough to settle the year-end No. 1 ranking in a close season. A champion who dropped a group match takes fewer.

How It Compares

Only the majors pay more in total, and none of them pays a single player more than Turin does for a perfect week. The US Open carries the largest overall fund in the sport, but it is spread across a 128-player draw rather than eight.
