Tournament Overview
The Laver Cup is the three-day team event that pits Team Europe against Team World, named after the Australian great Rod Laver. The 2026 edition returns to The O2 in London from 25 to 27 September, the second time the arena has hosted it after 2022.
Twelve matches are played across the three days, nine singles and three doubles, with four matches each day. Day one matches are worth one point, day two matches two points and day three matches three points, so a team trailing going into Sunday can still overturn it. There are 24 points available and the first team to 13 wins. If the tie reaches 12-12 a deciding doubles rubber settles it.
Team World arrive as holders, having won 15-9 in San Francisco in 2025 for a third title. Team Europe still lead the series 5-3.
