Laver Cup
The Laver Cup 2026 runs from Friday 25 to Sunday 27 September at The O2 in London. This page carries the day-by-day results and the running score as the three days play out, with Team Europe and Team World starting level at 0-0.
Twelve matches are played, four per day. Day one wins are worth one point, day two wins two points and day three wins three points, so the first team to 13 points of the 24 available takes the trophy.

How the Laver Cup is scored
The escalating points are what keep the event alive into Sunday. A team can end Saturday four points down and still win, because the final day is worth twelve of the 24 points on offer. It also means the tie can finish mid-afternoon on Sunday as soon as one side reaches 13.
If the sides are level at 12-12 after all twelve matches, a deciding doubles rubber settles it. That has never happened: no edition has gone beyond the twelve scheduled matches.
There are two participation rules that shape the order of play. Every player must play at least one singles match across the first two days, and no player may play singles more than twice. At least four of the six must play doubles, and no doubles pairing is used twice unless the tie goes to a decider.

Cerúndolo was called up on 12 September after Tommy Paul withdrew with an elbow injury sustained at the US Open. It is Cerúndolo’s fourth Laver Cup in a row.
What happened in 2025
Team World won the 2025 Laver Cup 15-9 at the Chase Center in San Francisco, a third title for the visitors and their third in four years. It was the first edition under the current captains, Andre Agassi for Team World and Yannick Noah for Team Europe.
Zverev and Shelton arrive off the 2026 US Open final (head-to-head), and Alcaraz and Fritz renew a familiar rivalry (head-to-head). No ATP ranking points are on offer here, so the Race to Turin is unaffected.
