Wimbledon 2026 Day 6 Predictions, Order of Play & Best Bets
The third round began in earnest on Day 5, and the top of both draws came through. Defending champion Jannik Sinner brushed aside Jenson Brooksby 6-4, 6-3, 6-4, while Novak Djokovic outlasted Arthur Rinderknech 7-5, 6-4, 1-6, 7-6(4) for a 105th career win at Wimbledon — level with Roger Federer’s all-time record at the All England Club. World No.1 Aryna Sabalenka saw off Jeļena Ostapenko 6-4, 6-4 and Coco Gauff edged Claire Liu 6-3, 6-7, 6-2. The seeds took a battering elsewhere: Jan-Lennard Struff knocked out eighth seed Daniil Medvedev in three tie-break-laden sets, Roman Safiullin dismantled Brazil’s João Fonseca 6-3, 6-3, 6-3, and Hubert Hurkacz came from a set down to end Tommy Paul’s run.
Day 6 keeps the third round rolling with a blockbuster Saturday on the show courts. Defending women’s champion Iga Świątek opens Centre Court against Filipino trailblazer Alexandra Eala, last year’s finalist Amanda Anisimova meets Australian Open champion Madison Keys in an all-American heavyweight tie, and 2023 champion Elena Rybakina, Alexander Zverev and Taylor Fritz all feature. Full previews and order of play below — and if you’re building a slip, see our Wimbledon Day 6 acca tips.

Day 6 Predictions & Best Bets
Alexandra Eala v Iga Świątek
Świątek arrives as the defending champion and the woman to beat on this half of the draw, and through two rounds she has looked ruthless — a 6-1, 6-3 win over Karolína Plíšková barely raised her heart rate. Eala is the story of the fortnight, the 20-year-old from the Philippines carrying real belief after a breakthrough season, and her lefty forehand and court sense make her more than a novelty. But this is a step up in class against the best returner in the women’s game, and Świątek’s ability to lengthen rallies and expose the margins should tell. Expect the champion to control the baseline and move through without alarm.
Best bet: Świątek to win in straight sets — approx 2/5 with Bet365.
Amanda Anisimova v Madison Keys
The pick of the day and the hardest to call. Anisimova reached last year’s final and hits as cleanly off both wings as anyone in the draw; Keys is the reigning Australian Open champion and, when her serve and forehand click, can blow opponents off the court. Two first-strike ball-strikers on a fast surface points to a short-rally shootout decided by a handful of loose games — margins, not tactics, will settle it. Anisimova’s slightly steadier return game and recent grass form give her the edge in a coin-flip.
Best bet: Anisimova to win — approx 6/5 with Paddy Power.
Frances Tiafoe v Alexander Bublik
Two of the tour’s biggest entertainers meet for the fifth time, and the first on grass since Tiafoe took their only previous meeting on the surface. Both men serve big and play on instinct, so rhythm will come and go for each — Bublik’s slice-and-drop-shot chaos against Tiafoe’s athleticism and streak-hitting. With two flair players who both hold serve well and swing for the fences, this has the makings of a long, tie-break-heavy afternoon rather than a clean three-setter.
Best bet: Over 38.5 total games — approx 10/11 with Coral.
