French Open 2026 Day 4 Predictions, Order of Play & Best Bets

Jonathan Davies in French Open 07 Jun 2026
Jannik Sinner with his 30th straight win

Day 3 at Roland-Garros 2026 was seed carnage. Sixth seed Daniil Medvedev, ninth seed Alexander Bublik and fifth seed Jessica Pegula all crashed out, while Jannik Sinner rolled on to a 30th straight win and both British men were eliminated. Day 4 brings the bottom half into second-round action: Iga Swiatek and Novak Djokovic headline Court Philippe-Chatrier, Alexander Zverev faces a genuine test against Tomáš Macháč in the night session, and Katie Boulter carries the last British singles hope on court today. Below: yesterday’s results, today’s order of play, our best bets and the Day 4 acca.

French Open Day 4 Best Bets

Zverev to beat Macháč

The night-session headline and the day’s trickiest seeded match. Tomáš Macháč is a top-30 talent with the shot-making to trouble anyone, but on best-of-five clay Zverev‘s superior fitness and depth should tell. The German is a two-time Roland-Garros finalist and the clear second favourite in Sinner’s half. Tip: Zverev to win (around 2/7).

Djokovic to beat Royer

Novak Djokovic faces French wildcard Valentin Royer in front of a home crowd. The 24-time Grand Slam champion is chasing a record-extending 25th major and a deep, drama-free run in the bottom half. Royer is ranked outside the top 100 — this is a routine assignment on paper. Tip: Djokovic to win in straight sets (around 8/13).

Swiatek R2 banker

Iga Swiatek opens Chatrier as the four-time champion. Whoever she faces in R2, the gap in clay-court pedigree is enormous — she beat Emerson Jones 6-1, 6-2 in R1 without breaking sweat. The straightforward play is Swiatek to win and advance. Tip: Swiatek to win (around 1/12) — acca anchor.

French Open Day 4 Acca
