French Open 2026 Day 10 Predictions, Order of Play & Best Bets
The kids have taken over. For the first time since Carlos Alcaraz and Holger Rune in 2022, two teenagers stand in a men’s Grand Slam quarter-final — and they headline Day 10. João Fonseca, 19, fresh from knocking out Novak Djokovic and then Casper Ruud, meets big-serving Jakub Menšík under the Chatrier lights, while fellow 19-year-old Rafael Jodar faces world No.3 Alexander Zverev in the afternoon.
The women’s last eight opens with an all-Ukrainian blockbuster, Elina Svitolina v Marta Kostyuk — Kostyuk unbeaten in 16 clay matches after dethroning Swiatek — before Mirra Andreeva gets the day under way. Yesterday belonged to the marathon men: Frances Tiafoe went down to Matteo Arnaldi in a five-hour, 26-minute classic that sank our best bet, while Aryna Sabalenka and Felix Auger-Aliassime delivered.
Below: Day 9’s results, today’s order of play, our best bets and the Day 10 acca.

Day 9 Results: Arnaldi Outlasts Tiafoe, Sabalenka Cruises
The bottom half of the men’s draw produced an Italian invasion: Frances Tiafoe was beaten by Matteo Arnaldi in a five-hour, 26-minute epic — the longest run to a Grand Slam quarter-final in the Open era — as Arnaldi, Matteo Berrettini and Flavio Cobolli became the first Italian trio to reach the men’s singles last eight at the same major. Felix Auger-Aliassime cruised past Alejandro Tabilo, and in the night session world No.1 Aryna Sabalenka swept aside Naomi Osaka for the third time this season.
| Match | Result | Score |

French Open Day 10 Best Bets
Zverev to beat Jodar
Alexander Zverev is the highest seed left and a former Roland-Garros finalist, and he has dropped just one set all fortnight. Rafael Jodar‘s breakthrough run has been the story of the bottom half, but a first Grand Slam quarter-final against a top-three player on the biggest court is a huge ask. Tip: Zverev to win (around 1/5).
Andreeva to beat Cirstea
Mirra Andreeva, the 19-year-old eighth seed, has looked the most complete player in the bottom half and hasn’t dropped a set since the first round. Sorana Cîrstea, 35, is living a dream run, but Andreeva’s consistency from the back of the court should settle it. Tip: Andreeva to win (around 1/3).
Fonseca v Mensik — the marquee
The watch of the day. João Fonseca has beaten Djokovic and Casper Ruud back-to-back; Jakub Menšík knocked out 11th seed Andrey Rublev in five. Two of the biggest hitters of the next generation, under the lights — it is a genuine coin-flip, but Fonseca’s confidence and clay movement give him the edge. Tip: Fonseca to win (around 4/6).
French Open Day 10 Acca
Four quarter-final picks, combined into one slip:
| Leg | Selection | Approx Odds |
| 1 | Alexander Zverev to win | 1/5 |
| 2 | Mirra Andreeva to win | 1/3 |
| 3 | João Fonseca to win | 4/6 |
| 4 | Marta Kostyuk to win | 5/6 |
Combined: around 4/1. The quarter-finals are far tighter than the early rounds — Svitolina v Kostyuk and Fonseca v Menšík are both coin-flips — so treat this as an ambitious slip.
