French Open 2026 Quarter-Finals: Predictions, Order of Play & Best Bets
The teenage fairytale is over — and the quarter-finals have produced a clear new favourite. Alexander Zverev ended 19-year-old Rafael Jodar‘s dream run and Jakub Menšík out-hit João Fonseca, so the top half delivers a Zverev–Menšík semi-final — and with Sinner, Djokovic and Alcaraz all long gone, Zverev is the man to beat for a maiden Grand Slam title.
In the women’s draw Mirra Andreeva crushed Sorana Cîrstea and Marta Kostyuk won the all-Ukrainian battle with Elina Svitolina, setting an Andreeva–Kostyuk last-four clash. Today the quarter-finals conclude: world No.1 Aryna Sabalenka, now a huge title favourite, faces Diana Shnaider, and Italy is guaranteed a semi-finalist as Felix Auger-Aliassime meets Flavio Cobolli before Matteo Berrettini and Matteo Arnaldi collide in an all-Italian night session. Below: the quarter-final results so far, today’s order of play, our best bets and the acca.

Quarter-Final Results: Zverev & Mensik Reach the Last Four
The first half of the quarter-finals ended both teenage runs. Alexander Zverev needed a tight opener before pulling away from Rafael Jodar, while Jakub Menšík backed up his win over João Fonseca to reach his first Grand Slam semi-final. On the women’s side Mirra Andreeva was ruthless against Cîrstea, and Marta Kostyuk edged the all-Ukrainian quarter-final with Elina Svitolina.

Quarter-Final Best Bets
Sabalenka to beat Shnaider
With the draw blown wide open, world No.1 Aryna Sabalenka is now the overwhelming favourite for the title. Diana Shnaider is a dangerous lefty having a fine fortnight, but Sabalenka’s firepower and big-match edge make her a strong pick. Tip: Sabalenka to win (around 1/6).
Auger-Aliassime to beat Cobolli
Felix Auger-Aliassime has the clearest run of anyone left and his serve travels on any surface. Flavio Cobolli is enjoying a breakout Slam, but the Canadian’s all-court game edges it. Tip: Auger-Aliassime to win (around 4/7).
Berrettini v Arnaldi — the marquee
The watch of the day, and Italy is guaranteed a semi-finalist. Matteo Berrettini’s serve-forehand power against Matteo Arnaldi, who has spent more than 17 hours on court this fortnight — including a five-hour, 26-minute epic over Tiafoe. Berrettini’s cleaner finishing just gets the nod under the lights. Tip: Berrettini to win (around 8/11).
Quarter-Final Acca
Four of today’s quarter-final picks, combined into one slip:
| Leg | Selection | Approx Odds |
| 1 | Aryna Sabalenka to win | 1/6 |
| 2 | Felix Auger-Aliassime to win | 4/7 |
| 3 | Anna Kalinskaya to win | 1/3 |
| 4 | Matteo Berrettini to win | 8/11 |
Combined: around 10/3. Sabalenka is the banker; the all-Italian night session is the genuine coin-flip, so treat the Berrettini leg as the risk. Build it with new-customer free bets via the Betfred Bet £10 Get £50 welcome offer — includes acca free bets, ideal for tennis multiples.
