Day 9 was the best of the fortnight. The named bets went three from three, and the Value Slip landed: Karen Khachanov, Botic van de Zandschulp and Alexander Blockx were all picked on court time rather than seeding and all three won. The Seeds Slip broke on Iga Świątek, who lost to a qualifier, and the Straight Sets Slip lost a fifth day running. Acca 1 — The Favourites Slip (3-fold)
The three quarter-finals where the numbers and the seeding agree. Carlos Alcaraz has conceded 42 games in four matches, fewer than any man left. Aryna Sabalenka has conceded 22, fewer than anyone in either draw, and has not lost a set. Jessica Pegula has dropped one set and reached the final here in 2024.

Two men, one unbeaten in sets and one barely troubled. Alex Michelsen is 12-0 in sets with 43 games conceded and is the only man left who has not dropped one, and he is unseeded against the 11th seed. Pairing him with Alcaraz keeps the slip honest rather than stacking two underdogs.

Frances Tiafoe has the better win of the fortnight, having beaten seventh seed Daniil Medvedev without dropping a set, so this is a genuine coin toss dressed as an underdog bet.

Acca 3 — The Straight Sets Slip (2-fold)
The lottery ticket, and it has now lost five days running, every time on one leg. Two players who have not conceded much of anything: Alcaraz has lost one set in the tournament, Sabalenka none at all. Note the different formats, five sets for the men and three for the women.
